Coventry bucks the trend!

Coventry Libraries have opened a brand new, purpose built library at Allesley Park, to the west of the city centre.  The building, which opened just in time for the school holidays on 21st July, replaces a mobile library which offered a mainly ‘static service’. (i.e. it didn’t get out much...)

The opening is the first phase of a wider development to create a new neighbourhood centre, which will also include a doctors’ surgery.

The library offers 12,000 items for loan including children's and teenage stock which was, of course, provided by Peters!
